Mealtimes here differ from those in Northern Europe: lunch is served from 2:00 to 6:00 pm and dinner from 8:00 to 11:00 pm. In the summer months you can often still order a hot meal well after midnight.
In Andalusia, when several people sit down at one table, it is customary to receive just a single bill at the end. If you would like to pay separately, it is best to let the staff know when you order.
Chiringuito Primera Ola ⭐⭐⭐⭐
This completely refurbished chiringuito at Playa Velilla 13, in eastern Almuñécar. A prime location right by the water, with a lovely atmosphere. In the evening, admire the moon rising over the sea with a good glass of red wine. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended for fish lovers!
